Is it possible to add a internal HDD to my HP Pavilion dv2700 model?

I have a HP Pavilion dv2700 dv2700 model laptop, which I hd purchased yeas back. It is having a 160GB internal HDD. Is it possible to add another HDD of 500GB or a 1TB? Please let me know what kind of HDD will ir support and how can I check my motherboard specs.

Hi,

 

The drive on the link below would be fine for your notebook - this is the largest capacity HDD that I know will work in your notebook..

 

320Gb Hard Drive

 

The procedure to replace the Hard Drive is detailed starting on Page 61 of your Maintenance & Service Guide.

 

Regarding the specification of your Motherboard, try installing an application such as PC Wizard
