My Laptop has been acting up for a while and most of the times it wont boot up, the lights will turn on and it almost gets to the boot screen but then it shuts off then it turns itself on again and does it over and over again.
Any ideas on what might be wrong with it.
Thanks..

Try doing a hard reset, remove the battery and the ac adapter...
Turn off the power.
Try turning on the power with only the a/c adapter plugged in, does it make a difference.

Alright, if you feel comfortable doing it,
could you reseat the RAM and the HDD ? Than wait about 30 seconds, and put everything back in? If it isn't working after that, hit caps lock, so the light turns on.
Is it a steady light, or a blinking one? If it's blinking i could mean that there's an issue with a part in the laptop

Sorry about the long wait tiome for a response.
If it's still a solid light, than it could be an issue with the connector inside the computer itself, a loose wire so to speak. If you can look, take a peak.
If not, Try sending it in for repairs, and getting it fixed that way.
If your in warranty, the issue should be resolved for you quickly.
If you have an extended warrany through place of purchase, bring it back to them, or give them a call and see if something can be done through them.
