Laptop does not recognize original and new HP DVD drive

Hi,

My Laptop comes with optiarc AD-7561A DVD drive. The drive suddenly disappear and try all the fixes found online but no result. So,  a new DVD drive TS-L632 drive was installed. Both drives are HP product with HP parts # on the drive.

Now, I am facing the same prorblem.. the dvd drive disappear .. Cannot solve. I am wondering if anyone can suggest a compatible dvd drive or provide link to the firmware if there's any.

Laptop model: HP Pavilion dv6748us

OS : Windows Vista

Error message: Hardware cannot identify device plug into IDE channel. (Only when TS-L632 was installed  and message display at the right bottom of the task bar once.)
