I have a presario cq 50-215ca that is having trouble charging. Sometimes when it's plugged in both the light on the side where the charger plugs into the notebook and te front led are lit up and it charges fine. Other days only the side light where the charger plugs in is lit up but the front charging led is not and does not charge. It will than run till it dies and will sit dead for a random amount of time than will start charging again. I can't get it to run without the battery when it's plugged in. It's currently dead any help would be appreciated

its possible that the charger that you have is already damage... try to use a different charger to isolate the problem if it work then you need to purchase a new 1
if your going to purchase I suggest ordering 1 over the phone with technical support they will provide you right charger for your notebook
there is no harm in trying, just always give your best shot!!!
