About 5 days ago I recieved my HP DV7 6165us from best buy, which still has 3 months of warranty left on it as it is a refurbished unit. The camera has not worked from day one, it does not show up in device manager and there is a hardware problem common to these machines that this laptop is affected by. I also have multiple dead pixels in this which are rather annoying. I've now sat on the phone with customer support with people that can barely speak english for a period of nearly 3 hours over 2 different days and had 3 different representatives remote into my computer, then determine it's a hardware issue before escalating me to someone else who doesn't know what the call was escalated for in the first place and starts the "troubleshooting" process all over again, then escalates me to someone else. It's like an endless cycle. If they KNOW that there's a hardware problem and that my computer is under warranty, why would they not just allow me to make a warranty claim and schedule a repair? I guess this is going back to Best Buy now..

Sorry to here that you are having a problem with a computer that was purchased from Best Buy.
I understand your pain.
I have purchased TV's, PlayStations, phones, computers and all but 1 has failed in one way or another. "One TV repaired 2 times and failed with the same problem".
I understand why the Wall Street Journal has predicted that they will go out of business in 5-10 years.
Again sorry for your pain.
