Maximum Memory in HP Mini 210-3025sa?

Hello,

Due to receive an HP Mini 210-3025sa within the next day or so, and the first thing I wish to do is replace the existing 1GB memory module with 2GB.

However, I note from the product specifcation page that, apparently, the maximum it is upgradeable to is 1GB? Is this correct, as from what I can see, the 3025sa is the same as the 3000sa bar the bundled software - and that takes 2GB?

Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi:

The way HP stated the memory info on your notebook's support and driver page is misleading.

Memory	1 GB DDR3
Memory Max	Upgradeable to 1 GB DDR3

What this means is that the notebook comes with 1 GB. You can upgrade it another 1 GB.

However, there is only one memory slot, so you will need to remove the current 1 GB chip and replace it with a 2 GB DDR3 memory module, which you already knew.

HP have a strange way of wording things, but it makes sense, I guess!

I've a 2GB memory module on the way, so will update this thread when it arrives.

if i try to use a chip of 4gb it will be right ?

the netbbok will work ?

Hi:

The maximum memory is 2 GB.

If you install a 4 GB memory module, the PC will probably not boot up.
