Hi guys


i hav HP Dv6-2010sa laptop with 3GB DDR2 Ram (1GBx1, 2GBx1) . . Bt new i want to upgrade it to 4GB Single RAM . . is it possible . . ? or i should go with two rams of 2-2GBs each . . ? And can yu please tell me which brand/series perfectly match with my machine . . thank you . . :smileyhappy:

4 gb dimms are expensive.  While your system is spec'd for up to 8 gb you will need a 64 bit OS to take advantage of any amount over 3 gb.   You have two dimm slots so you could try 4 and 2 for a total of 6.  What is the return policy for the memory if you can't get it to work?  Try Corsair, Kingston or Crucial.  It's best to call them for a recommendation.
