Hi, I ordered a HP Pavillion dv6700t notebook PC with a model number of KL090AV, and that is what it says on the outside tag.
However when I start it up the BIOS says is a dv6700 not dv6700t and the model number is GP238AV.
I have tried finding the difference between the two models but to no avail. Is there any difference between the two models that would merit returning it?

There is no difference in the PN - the machine is customized (CTO) to order, so everything you ordered is there. The CTO units all have multiple PNs, the correct one to use is the one printed on the white tag on the bottom of the notebook.
