My Laptop is having a lot of problems recently But i don't know what is causing them

My Hp Laptop model number HP G62 (G62-a29SA) 

It all started a few weeks back, at first it was just that the usually blue light that comes on wen charging went orange or red what ever it is lol, well yeah at first that was all it just wouldnt charge 100% can anybody tell me what the Red or Orange light means? 

Well then it started cutting out while it was plugged in so i removed the battery and everything was fine, the light went back to blue and i just carried on using it with the battery off. But then today it started just cutting out every few moments. i really dont know what is causing it, Any help????????
