My hard drive is bad and I only have had my note book a year. They say it will cost alot to replace. Is the hard drives suppost to last longer? I was  told by a repair expert on hp products that this is a common problem and that he has at least 10 ahead of me so I bought a used one for now. I priced hard drives and they cost more to replace than just to toss the notebook and get a brandnew one for the price of the hard drive. Is my hard drive coverd or not? should I just buy a new notebook?
