Thank you all for your help and suggestions.  You live and learn as I never would have thought the heatsink is that complicated. lol  Thanks again

Hey pal I had the same Issue with mine you have to replace the thermal compound between the heat sink and the cpu only a pea sized amount and you should be OK, IM on mines right now as i type so don't be discouraged sorry you when through all the other run around this should run you under ten bucks.....
