I have downloaded all of the drivers for this particular laptop and installed them. The ethernet card is showing a code 10 in device manager in Vista Ultimate. The driver says it is for a Nvidia. I can't seem to find anything on this particular model as far as the ethernet card and drivers, even on Google. Thanks in advance.

Hi:
Please see if installing the chipset driver installs the network card driver.
It normally does with nVidia boards.

I have installed that particular chipset, as well as all of the other drivers for the machine. That specific driver is what is causing the ethernet card to show a code 10, device cannot start.
Thanks.

When in device manager where it says code 10 go to details.
In the property box go to Hardware Ids.
Should be something like PCI\VEN_????&DEV_????
????= Your device id
Do google search and you should find what the device is.
Good luck.

Hi:
The only other suggestion I have is to try the chipset driver directly from nVidia.
64 bit
http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_vista64_15.23.
32 bit.
http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_vista_15.23.ht
If you can post the Hardware ID for the network card, I'd like to see what it is.

Anyone else that has this problem, you need to install the drivers for the nvidia bus enumerator, then install the driver for the ethernet card. I found drivers that will work at http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=2517
Thanks for the help.
