Need to clean the INSIDE of my laptop screen (Pavilion dv4-1220us)

Hi, two days ago, yogurt was spilled in the bag where I keep my laptop (HP Pavilion dv4-1220us). The computer seemed fine that night, but the next day, I realized that there were loads of dark spots/stains on the screen. I think it's just liquid stuck on the inside of the screen... How can I clean the inside of the screen? Is it possible to open the screen to clean it from the inside? Can HP help me fix this? Or if I take it to a computer repair shop would they be able to help me?

Do you have Accidental Damage Protection on this notebook?  If so, then you'll need to contact whoever you have an extended warranty with...if you don't have ADP then it will cost you money to send it to HP because this isn't covered by the factory warranty.

You can take it apart yourself if you think you can handle it....just be very gentle with the components you touch.

Thanks! I don't have ADP, and don't really feel confident doing it myself... A computer repair shop shouldn't have any problem doing though, right? I even have the maintenance and service guide for my computer to explain to them how to take the screen apart step by step...
