PRESARIO C700 WILL NOT CHARGE

HAVE A NEW CORD LAPTOP SAYS IT IS CHARGING BUT WILL ONLY RUN TILL THE BATTERY IS DEAD. I HAVE TWO OF THESE SO I HAVE TO CHARGE A BATTERY IN THE ONE AND PUT IT IN THE OTHER ONE TO USE IT.

Have you performed a battery calibration on the laptop that will not charge the battery? If you are swapping batteries between the two, that might be causing the problem.

Hi,

 

If you do not attached the battery and use the power of AC adapter, does it work?

 

If your C700 runs on power of AC Adapter but it does not charge the battery, it seems to me that there is some issue on the charging function of your laptop. (Especially, you have shown that both batteries are functional)

 

If needed, you may contact HP support center for further advice.
