Hi,

 

I've searched a lot of forum and website to find this, but I didn't found anything for my notebook.

Is it possible to have two hard disks in this notebook without removing the optional drive?

 

I would like to know if its possible to add a solid state disk to my Pavilion DV7 laptop in addition to the hard disk.

 

I know if it's possible I probably has to buy a  2nd HDD Caddy

Hi:

 

I believe that is entirely possible, and you need to order the caddy and cable at the link below for your specific dv7 model.

A SATA II SSD would be the one you would want.

 

You can see this post or search for others for more info. I just searched in the notebook forum using the words dv7 SSD
