Presario cq41 - 224tx Brightness problem on windows 7

Hi,

i have problem with my laptop compaq hp pressario cq41 - 224tx

i can't adjust and lower the brightness on my laptop by pressing fn+f7, fn+f8

and there is no brightness slider on the windows mobility center like this pictureUntitled.jpg

i have try to reinstaling quick launch drivers and VGA drivers from the oldes till the newest, but there is still no brightness slider in the windows mobility center, and the button fn+f7, fn+f8 still not work

my laptop monitor is too bright, this make the batteries run out quickly

any suggestion to solve my laptop brightness problem..?

You have focused in on the likely issues....it is the video driver and the keyboard hotkey drivers that are likely at fault. What does device manager list for the display adapter? Do you have any exclamation marks or other issues in device manager?

I have reinstalled the video drivers and HP quick launch drivers that I download from this website

I have tried installing all the drivers vga and quick launch are available from website

but i still have that problem
there is no exclamation mark in device manager on my laptop

do you have any suggest to solve my laptop brightness problem ?

why in my BIOS there is no "Action key mode" menu..?
