Hey I'm trying to upgrade my HP Pavilion dv7 1134US as much as I can, but I have a few questions.
Am I able to upgrade the processor at all? If possible what would my options be?
Currently it has a AMD Turion 64 x2 Dual Core Mobile RM-70 2.0 Ghz Socket S1g2
Motherboard ID <DMI>

Yes it is posible but highly not recommended.
The maximum upgrade for CPU is ZM88 (Socket S1G2)
However, only CPUs below are listed for your model, see Maintenance and Service Guide
AMD Turion™ Ultra Dual-Core 35W ZM-86 2.40-GHz with 2-MB L2 cache
AMD Turion Ultra Dual-Core 35W ZM-82 2.20-GHz, with 2-MB L2 cache
AMD Turion Ultra Dual-Core 35W ZM-80 2.10-GHz, with 2-MB L2 cache
AMD Turion Dual-Core 35W RM-70 2.00-GHz with 1-MB L2 cache
AMD Athlon™ X2 Dual-Core 35W QL-60 1.90-GHz with 1-MB L2 cache
In my personal opinion, you wont notice the different, the current one is fast enough for most of office applications.
