[ Edited ]
Hello!
I've got an Pavilion dv 9848eo (9700/9000),
My problem is the Graphic card, ( GeForce 8600M GS ) and was wondering if i could opgrade it with a GeForce 9600 GT or 9800 GT? (or better; or just something which is better than those i got!)

I want to opgrade my graphic card, because i''m a 3D programmer + FPS game player :smileyhappy: and, want good quality :smileytongue: ..

My PC specs is :

Windows 7 Ultimate
Intel Core 2 Duo - both @ 2.40 GHz
3 GB DDR2 Ram ( factory install )
BIOS = F.59? <- only thing i could find, guide me to find it, if needed :smileyhappy:

If you need more information, just tell me :smileyhappy:

Thanks in Advance!

Hi,

You can't. Why? Because Your graphic card is integrated with Your motheboard.

Re: possible to opgrade Graphic card? - dv9000

It would be so much easier for you to get a new computer than to replace the motherboard.

You'd have to buy the motherboard, and then pay someone to swap it out for you.

And I assume you're upgrading the graphics card for gaming?

Just buy a nice $500 desktop with a good graphics card.
