Sony Optiarc BD ROM BC-5501S-H2 - FIRMWARE Update

Does anyone knows where did I'm find the firmware for this drive????? The actually version came in this hardware is 1.86, that drive was installed on HP Pavillion dv7-1267cl, my problem is that firmware version can't read panasonic, digistor or verbatim blu-ray disc, thanks for help me.

HP does not have a firmware update for that model unfortunately.

I was having the same problem.  Tried to watch new Blu-ray "American Horror Story".  Got message about firmware update.  Did a little research.  Bought and downloaded WinDVD Pro 11.  Installed and update keycode.  Now I can watch "American Horror Story".  HP was no help, but this fixed the problem.  My Blu-ray palyer in my ProBook laptop is back in business................................
