Hello,
I have an HP Notebook, G62
My Synaptics TouchPad has been having problems/ has gradually loss certain functions. I can't double click on the touchpad and the actual buttons on the laptop don't work at all. I tried reinstalling Synaptics, but that hasn't resolved the issue.
Thoughts?

sometimes running "HP Support Assistant / Maintain" will help to get the most updated drivers/software for your device. i found this to be helpful on my dv6. i also turned down some of the sensitivities on mine to avoid inadvertent taps.
