bump... anyone got any idea ? i really need to figure out if this is a software / hardware / or USB problem.

OH don,t worry...that is not true....I was doing some digging...it looks like USB 3.0 issue than Envy 17 issue... Check this...

According to the manual for that model it has only 1 super speed usb 3.0 port, it is next to the audio out jack.
Look under "External Component Identification>Left Side>Port 7

Hello,
I am sure that i know which one is the USB 3.0 port, you can see me testing the ports on both side in the previous thread.
Also, it comes to me that read / write small files is okay without errors and have show significant performance difference.
But the fact i choose USB 3.0 is for copying some extremely large files. idea: 10G disk file of vmware.
So, it is very important for me that the data is correct and fast.
I do not understand why i can use my old 32GB 2.0 USB very well, but it turn to error when i was using USB 3.0.

I really start to think that may be the problem of ADATA, i send to their repair shop for checking, it's 4 weeks already, but still not yet confirmed that the USB is good or bad ...

well, it finally confirmed USB stick problem, and got fixed. ... 4 months.
