Unknown Device Under Device Manager After Doing A Win8 Pro Upgrade!

I have an HP Pavilion dv7-6b32us notebook computer. I just installed Windows 8 Pro. I looked under Device Manager & I have one Unknown Device now. I installed all of the drivers, so I don't know what it can be. How can I find out? I'm attaching some screen shots. Thanks for your help and time!

Did you post the hardware ids information?

That is what is needed to identfy the unknown devices. Right-click the unknown device and select properties to invoke the properties menu.  See the example that I posted below.

Yes, that's the information I put there. That's wierd you can't see the graphics. I can see them. Here is the data. Thanks so much!

Download and install the HP wireless button driver .

Hello PeterBill.

This piece of hardware is the "ENE CIR Reciever."  Unfortunately, I can not find a version of this driver for Windows 8.  I can offer you a few suggestions however.

First try downloading, installing, and running HP Support Assistant.  It will attempt to locate the drivers for your notebook's hardware itself.  This is the easiest method.  You can download it here. 

If this doesn't work you should try using the Windows 7 version of the driver (here is a link to the Windows 7 version) in Windows 8.  Some users report success with this method but I suggest trying it last.  I posted a thread with detailed instructions here.  Make sure to post the results.
