I would like to upgrade the hard drive on my Presario v6200 CTO. The current drive is: FUJITSU MHV2060BH PL ATA. If upgrading is available, then how do I transfer the OS (came with the computer).

The hard drive is a SATA drive. It can be upgraded to as big a hard drive as you can find as long as it is 9.5 mm thick and 2.5 inches wide and SATA. Where are you located and I can give you advice on where to buy. The best thing to do is "clone" the drive from old to new with an "upgrade kit".
Good deal on 500 gb 7200 rpm drive:

Upgrade kit:

When you are done you can use the enclosure included with the upgrade kit as an external storage drive with your old hard drive.
Your Service Manual:
Page 5-6 is where the section starts on replacing the hard drive.

Thank you so much - I've used NEWEGG before without problems!
