Upgrade to bluray

Hello, i just wanted to ask if i will break my guarantee if i change the dvd-burner in my pavillion dv7-4050eo for a blu-ray reader? Im from Norway so we have 5 years guarantee by law. Is changing optics media, ram and hdd considered "tampering" or is this allowed as far as it is not the cause of damage to the product?

Re: Upgrade to bluray

Changing those items doesn't viod your warranty. However, if those items cause amage to your system your warranty may no longer apply. Also, you may be required to return the system to a factory condition to receive technical and warranty services.
