Need to know your exactt model so we can see the specs. The big thing is the video, which is not upgradeable. You can make it generally faster by (possibly) upgrading the processor maybe the memory (although gains get slim above 4 gigs), and install an SSD hard drive (very expensive). You need to compare the hardware you have to the recommended specs for the game you want to play is about all I can say.

It is an envy17-1013 tx,
the detail spec is following:
core i7-720 QM,
ATI radeon mobility 5850 HD
8GB ram,
2 x WD 3200BEKT harddisk.
Window 7 64 bit.
I brought it for gaming mainly, while it is somehow disappointing.
Although i guess it is not HP issues.
I used it for civ 5, it only got 4-6 fps in huge map, but everyone on laptop got similar results.
i used it for starcraft 2, it only use 2 of the 4 cpu core, again, it's blizzard problems.
that's why i would like to ask, anyone got good idea on diablo 3,
i know many ppl told me to get desktop, but I did that on my old dv5000 for wow,
bring the laptop with me to join the friends together in same places.
it's a very good experiences that everyone sit together.
while i am seeking alternatives for the upcoming diablo 3.
Thanks.
