Want remain powered up

notebook will not power on.  hit the power button, flashes blue, then turns off immediately.

remove the battery, plug in the power adapter and see if it will power up.

Hi,

 

Have you changed any hardware components in your laptop? If yes, I would recommend you to remove it and change it back to the original setting and see if the computer works. If you receive this issue after hardware change, it probably is the new hardware not compatible with your laptop.

 

If there was no hardware change and you just receive this issue suddenly, please try to remove both the battery and AC adapter for a couple of mins. Then plug in the AC adapter to see if it powers up correctly.

 

If it still powers off in a few seconds, you may need to contact HP customer support for assistance.
