I believe in the saying "don't fix anything that isn't broke". I have an AC power adapter and the end that plugs into my laptop (a Pavilion ze5700) almost looks like it's rusted. Not only that, it is almost impossible to unplug and when I finally get it unplugged, it looks like the plastic in the middle is all bunched up. The funny thing is that it still charges my battery and my laptop works fine? Any suggestions?
I also just recently purchased a new AC Adapter and the same thing happens; it's almost impossible to unplug. Is the Power Jack that is soldered to the board faulty? Would it need to be replaced?
