hi i have hp compaq nx6110 laptop and have problem with battery when batery is inserted in laptop and laptop is turned off the orange light is lighting and show that battery is charging when i turned laptop on and windows is loaded on the orange light is gone and laptop won't recognize battery

Hi,

 

Try this:  Turn off the notebook, remove the battery, connect the AC Power adapter to the notebook and power up the notebook without the battery installed.  Once you are booted up and loged in, put the battery in and see if it is recognized and starts to charge.

 

I would also recommend doing a battery check with the HP Support Assistant (depending on which OS you have installed).  It would also be good if you still have problems to check the BIOS version and see if there is a newer BIOS available for your model PC.
