The question is self explanatory, unless of course your'e brain dead. Can a CQ56 AMD V140 Processor with Windows7 64bit O.S. be upgraded to a dual core? yes or no?

See chapter 1, page 1 for the list of supported processors.
Wouldn't a V160 be better than an Athlon N370 dual core?
But if you know otherwise, then you should be able to install the N370.
