g6000 dvd drive wont work

i have a g6000 laptop and the dvd wont work to reinstall windows.i bought a new dvd drive and it wont work either . i need help on this i have tried to use an external dvd rom to reinstall windows but it wont let me use that either ? why ???

just as i thought... hp really does suck.. no sort of help from anyone.. no wonder everyone told me to stay away from hp.. oh well off to better compinies i go for my next laptop.. YOU SUCK ! ! !
