Hp g62-347NR
I just purchased a g62-347NR and am trying to upgrade it the best i can. So far i have upgraded to 6gb of ram. Only other thing i can think of upgrading is the CPU but i cant find any details on if its possible to do or any details on the motherboard. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Here is a link to the Manual which lists the available processors:
It appears that you can install a Phenom II N640 which is a 2.9 ghz processor and would provide a major increase in power. However, it is a 35w processor and yours is a 25w processor. Laptop processor upgrades are a bit of a black art and you will not find official support. You are almost always better off to sell what you have and buy a laptop with a faster cpu. Single high-end laptop cpus are very expensive.
The N640 is about $150 on ebay.
