My laptop is a G62-144DX Notebook I am getting the same error message and screen goes to gray/black with a flashing cursor in the corner.

I get an internal battery error 601 when I first boot up my computer.  What is the problem and how do I fix it.

My internal error notice is coming up when I sign on everyday also. I have a ProBook 4520s. where do I change it and why did it not last more than 1 year. I have used this one since January 2010!! It seems that HP needs to fix this problem because I have a Dell that is at least 5 years old and I have never replaced that one, or any computer I have ever had!
