internal battery error 601

No one has replied to tell anyone where to change that battery!!!!

Its the main battery, it needs replaced.

       I purchased a new battery from HP. That was the problem. Good luck.

Which battery did you replace? The main big one on the back or the "watch battery" inside?

I saw a youtube video that showed it step by step.. and believe me there are alot of steps in it.. they buried it way inside the body!

Hi once again.

I wish to remind that Internal Battery Error means that MAIN laptop's battery - NOT RTC battery on System Board needs to be consider of replaced.

Buy new battery and message will be not displayed anymore.

I have gotten the same message.  I have numerous other issues with this laptop as well.  The model is HP G60.

Will replacing the main battery also help eliminate the overheating issue? My G60 runs very very hot without the cooling pad under it. I really feel the heat under my left hand when I am typing.
