ON MY MACHINE I FOUND OUT THAT IT WAS THE BATTERY THA HAS A FAULT. I TRIED REPLACING THE CMOS,BUT THE KEPT ON COMING. I REPLACED THE BATTERY AND IT WORKED.

I have continued to receive this message for some time. My computer is an HP Pavilion Entertainment PC model dv6-2150us.  I ordered a new external battery and it should be here anyday. Now that I have read this post related to the same issue, I am wondering if I need another battery (internal) Can someone please tell me what I need to do to replace the internal battery on this model. I  Recently went online and purchased a new internal battery for my computer. I found a site at drbattery.com and my replacement cost around 55  dollars which included shipping. It took 4 business days to arrive and it is has a 2 year warranty.  So far, so good. 

You WILL NEED TO KNOW THE MODEL NUMBER OF YOUR COMPUTER WHICH IS LOCATED ON THE BOTTOM OF THE COMPUTER on the outside of the internal battery. Also, before you send for a new battery, please keep in mind that there was a recall on HP batteries and you should check the hp support site to see if your battery is one of the ones they recalled. That way you can get a new one for free. In addition, you can go to the hp website to see if they can run a battery check on your computer and it will tell you if the internal battery is bad. I do hope this one helps.

Find your model on Amazon pay half the price it fixed all my battery errors to just get a new battery. I just can't believe how fast HP batteries go bad.
