ive cracked the screen on my HP G56-130sa, how do i get it fixed?

Hey, basically i stepped on my laptop when it was shut and now the screen has lots of black lines on it and its getting worse, i can't really see the screen! what have i done exactly? and how do i fix it asap? thanks

Basically, you just cracked your screen. You could call hp for solutions, which is probably the worst option if you don't have a warranty (Not the Warranty included, you must buy it). This happened to mine and they said it would cost about $350 for repair and 14.99 shipping 1 way. I have to pay both ways. WHAT A RIP OFF. Instead what you can do is get a hp g56 replacement screen from amazon or ebay. They are like $50-$60. If you buy the original, its like $300. But they are both the same, one is just from a better company. After you buy the replacement screen, you can go to a technician which will probably charge less than $25. Or, you can install it yourself by going online and searching how to remove the old screen and get the new one in.
