lightscrib e module for the 2540p?

Hi,
So I heard there is a lightscribe-module for the 2540p, I bought the laptop used and would now like to know where to get this module.

Hi,
It actually is the optical drive (CD/DVD writer). Not much information in this therefore I can not say more:

If it does have one, a software should come with it; all you need: right blank CD's/DVD's. If not, you can always buy an external burner.

Hi, again, thanks for the answer, I though there where some kind of plugin-module as I read on some informational page for HP 2540p. I have the elitebook 2540p wk303ea, and I want to have lightscribe, can I install any sata dvd-plus rw with lightscribe, dont I need to be considerable with if the drive is low-consumational or not etc. thanks.

Hi,
Page #9 of the above link says: you can ONLY add an optical drive if your machine uses a low voltage processor. There is an option for USB ODD, also mentioned on page 9.
