my battery does not charge, the battery is okay but no charging functionality

i have a g60 laptop, I think it is US120 model, It should be registered to me.  When the AC charger is on it does not detect it and the battery does not charge.  The battery got lower and lower and now it will not start.  It also will not run without the batter in it and without charge in the battery.  Any ideas_?

It sounds like your adaptor may have died.  Here is a link that you can find information for troubleshooting your adaptor.
