I have the new fan and have removed all the screws I could find, removed the HDD, Memmory and removed all screws, how do I get the case apart?

You can go through the Maintainance and Service guide for dv7 notebook and find out how to replace the cooling FAN. Please be aware that you will be voiding the warranty by doing this yourself.
