Hi,
Does "# of Core" mean # of processor? Thus can we say i5-2430M CPU is having 2 processors?
Many Thanks & Best Regards,

The Intel Core i5-2430M has two cores and is two processors on the same chip. That does place two processors on the same motherboard, although they have the same power supply.
