pavilion dv7-1135nr battery

Hi.

My hp pavilion dv7-1135nr battery is dead...

I wanted to know if i can buy a replacement for it, but instead of buying 6 cell battery like it originally came with (i think), to buy a stronger one, with 12 cells for example, or it might ruin the computer?

So if I understand right, my specific model is compatible only with 8 cell batteries?
