probook 4520s battery problem

[ Edited ]

I have HP Probook 4520s.

[Serial Number Removed for privacy]

The product number is: WD844EA#ABV

The Operating System installed is genuine Windows 7 professional edition.

No changes made ever since bought. Purchased about two years ago.

ERROR MESSAGE:

Today at 5pm when I turned on my laptop I saw this message on the battery tray icon.

65% remaining

Consider replacing your battery

There is a problem with your battery, so your computer might shut down suddenly.

Also a redcross on the battery icon is there.

I am experiencing this problem for the very first time.I have done the initial checking refreshed the operating system, checked it in plugged in status but its charging normally but still the above all appears on the battery icon tray.

Please kindly help me out. This problem is freaking me out. I dont know what happened suddenly.

Regards,

Jamal A. Nasir
