thanks for the help provided in resolving the upgrade prbleme, but i have another question . for my graphics card it says:
Video Graphics NVIDIA GeForce G 105M Video Memory
up to 1790 MB total graphics memory with 512 MB dedicated DDR3
so... if i instal more ram whill the graphics card memory also grow?.. i mean will it take from the RAM i will instal (just like in the desktops with on board graphic card) or it will remain the same?

The memory on these is called Turbocache memory. It has 512 meg of its own dedicated actual video memory and then in theory it can take some ridiculous extra amount from Windows. But it is not permanently assigned to video like in traditional integrated video memory. It only uses it if actually needed, kind of like a swap file and then immediately releases it. Studies have shown that Turbocache memory is hardly ever, if ever actually used at all. The video card is just not strong enough to use any more than 512 megs. So if you add more system memory you will not lose any of it to video and you are not losing any memory to video now. All your memory is available to Windows.
