will hp pavilion g6-2123 support ddr3-1600/pc3-12800

Very simple question.

Will the HP Pavilion g6-2123us support  DDR3-1600/PC3-12800 memory?

I can't find any concrete evidence as of yet that says one way or another.

Hi:

The processor specs for your PC indicate it has a 1600 MHz FSB. 

That is encouraging.

What I can't find is info that the AMD A70M FCH runs 1600 Mhz memory at 1600 MHz.

If it does then even though the service manual indicates DDR3-1333, DDr3 1600 memory would work.

Max memory is listed at 8 GB. I even question that.

You can run the free crucial memory scan tool and see what it reports.

Worst case scenario is the 1600 Mhz memory downclocks to 1333 MHz.
