Re: Backlit Keyboard

OK...Go into the BIOS and Check if you can Turn On/Off the Backlit keyboard there...

Just double checking, you are trying fn+F5 key combination to turn Off the Backlit Keyboard....

Re: Backlit Keyboard

There is no setting in the BIOS that i could find.  And the f5 key should just turn on/off the backlight without hitting fn.  It said this in the manual

Re: Backlit Keyboard

Yes i have never been able to turn it off since the day i have had it.  The fn+f5 does not work as well. Could it be a defect?

Hmmmm....Yup, that looks like a keyboard issue...Just to sure, can you make sure, all the F1-F12 keys primary and secondary function are working correctly...

Re: Backlit Keyboard

Yes all of the other keys work properly. The f5 key works in Word but not the backlight.
