I recently downgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 7.
Since then, my Beats Audio is working with lower quality (not as load, and I don't see volume notification when I press the hardkeys for higher/lower volume.)
I assume I am missing some driver, but I couldn't find anything else to install.
I am using HP Envy dv6t-7200
Windows 7 64 bit
I downloaded all possible drivers for my model from the HP Drivers site, as well as all possible Windows Updates.
I tried going to Device manager, and manually checking for driver updates, but it says that windows determined my drivers are up to date.
The records shown in the Device Manager for Audio are:
- High Definition Audio Device
- Intel(R) Display Audio
I don't find any mention of Beats there...
Can anyone direct me to where I can download appropriate drivers? Or any other solution i'm missing?

The article assumes I have HP Beats Control Panel but as stated, I reinstalled Windows and HP Drivers & Downloads didn't offer any of the beats software / drivers

The Beats Audio interface is supplied by the IDT Audio installer - try the version for the dv6t-7000 on the following link.
