Can the HP "BD E DS6E2LH" notebook SATA blu-ray player/DVD burner write to dual layer DVD media?

I just received an HP Pavilion dv6zqe notebook, which is working wonderfully so far (besides the graphics card being so far incompatible with Linux). The specs are:

AMD A8-3530MX CPU

6 GB RAM

AMD Radeon HD 6750M graphics card

750 GB 7200 RPM HDD

HP BD E DS6E2LH Blu-ray player & SuperMuti DVD burner

Everything else is standard (as of 22-Nov-2011).

Does anyone know if the optical drive (HP BD E DS6E2LH) is capable of burning dual-layer DVD discs? I can't find much information on the drive, and have no blank dual-layer media on hand to test this feature. Thank you very much for any insight!

Hi,

It can not burn BD - the ODD is a Blu-ray Drive & SuperMulti DVD burner.
