I'm looking to buy a laptop with the capability to run both a HDD and a SSD simultaneously, but that information doesn't show up often on specs listings. Is there a list or guideline for what HP notebooks are able to do this?
Can the dv7-6113cl? 2000-412NR?
I would prefer to be able to use both drives without sacrificing the optical drive, as with the Multibay II method, but it's not absolutely necessary.

Due to physical size of the HDD and/or SDD, many vendors use 17" laptops to house TWO HDD's (or 2 SSD's or a mix of one each). You still can keep the ODD. Some 15.6" laptops can also house 2 HDD's/SSD's but very hard to find anything smaller.
