Away from my desk for 45 mins. Returned to find a blank screen. Shut it down and went for a reboot: nothing! Blank screen.Took the notebook to a local computer shop.Diagnostics show a failed hard drive. The G60 notebook was purchased in Aug 2009, so it is new. I used it for maybe 4 or 5 hours a day. What do I do now?

get your notebook back, call hp tech support, let them run some tests and if the HDD is bad it is under warranty for 1 year from when you bought it
