Re: HP Envy x2 touch keyboard not working right

Hi,

Unless there is a software to go with it, the keyboard itself can't hold a dictionary. Where do you set it up ?

Regards.

Re: HP Envy x2 touch keyboard not working right

Hello LarsDennert,

You want to know about the grammar correction on the X2.

As banhien mentioned it not the keyboard that will check for errors, it will be whatever program that you are using.

The HP forums will not grammar check.

Have a good day.

Re: HP Envy x2 touch keyboard not working right

Hmm, people aren't getting the concept. Win8 has settings for advanced spell correction within the touch keyboard but they don't function. A dictionary can and is held within the keyboard app. Just look at any iOS, Android or Winows Phone. The dictionary is within the keyboard, not each app. All are simpler devices than windows. All have spell correcting dictionaries that "watch" what you type within the keyboard and make/suggest corrections. This functionality is broken in Windows 8 apparently.

If any of you get it going, please post up.
