I'm interested in replacing my CPU with a stronge one...
Currently I have a Core Duo T2300 1.66 GHz processor...
Is it possible to replace it with a Core 2 Duo processor??
They both have the same socket and the newer laptops
have the Core 2 Duo processor installed...
Intel Core Duo T2300 (1.66)
1.5 GB DDR2 RAM
Mobile Intel GMA 950

The answer is yes. You will need to update the BIOS to F.0E (27 Aug 2008) , which adds support for Core 2 Duo processors.

Read down the list of enhancements and fixes for the bios update. Look at the F.0B notes.

I tried to change the T2250 Core duo CPU to a T5780 Core 2 Duo but it not fit! They have different "leg" shape. According to your comments is it impossible, it must fit to housing. How is this differential possible?

T5870 is Socket P
T2250 is Socket M
Try to find some Socket M proc.
